Turkey Hunting
You may hunt ‘The Big Toms’ down under with us at any time from mid July through to mid November, during which time they will be all ‘puffed up’ and ‘struttin’.
During the spring season of ‘94’, North American hunters from many parts of the USA killed some 80 odd Toms here, the best weight being 3Olbs, the best beard 10 inches, and the best spur being just under 2 inches.
For the serious North American Turkey hunter, the opportunity now exists to hunt those ‘Big Toms’ during two spring seasons within the one year. Each hunter has a limit of three birds per day, however in special circumstances; extra birds may be taken for additional fees. Our birds are basically of the Meriam variety, but occasionally we will take a bronze bird, a bronze wing or a white.
Please Note: Trophy fees are payable to landowners based on size and condition of trophy
